EnglishTeacher.com was built by a working Thai teacher and her husband, in a village school in Surin, for working Thai teachers. Here is how to use it for homework, classroom drills, and getting a child ready for the district Story Telling round.
The single biggest reason homework tools fail in rural and low-connectivity classrooms is friction — accounts, downloads, data usage. EnglishTeacher.com has none of that.
Every topic has a permanent URL like practice.html?topic=fruits. Send it in LINE, write it on the board, or print it — it always opens the same list.
No app store, no install, no storage used. It runs in any modern browser — the one shared family phone is enough.
Open it once with a signal and the phone keeps the lists, the pictures and the voices. Only the microphone needs the internet. Rain mode, honestly →
There's no login and nothing is graded or stored. Students who are shy about mistakes get to make as many as they need to.
Pick a topic on the Practice page, copy its URL, and share it. Students tap Listen, then Speak, working through every word at their own pace. Nothing to grade — the goal is repetition, not a test score.
Use the printable word list tool to generate a clean handout for any of the 81 topics — English, Thai, and an easy pronunciation guide, with checkboxes for self-tracking. Paper never loses signal.
The ten-week pronunciation clinic opens on a classroom screen from one phone. Chorus first, twenty times, before anyone says it alone. It is built on the sounds Thai speakers lose — the sixty points out of a hundred that the district judges mark on English.
Every topic prints as a one-page A4 word list on print.html — English, Thai and how to say it, black and white. Search below, or open the print page and pick from the list.
Every education district in Isan already runs a free English Story Telling competition at งานศิลปหัตถกรรมนักเรียน, judged by Thai teachers. The school enters the child. USAEnglish.com adds what it never had: the gold medalists send a video, and the ten best compete live in Chiang Mai on April 15, 2027, with travel paid and prize money for the child and the coaching teacher.
A pathway that works in the classroom:
Vocabulary practice and pronunciation drills get a student most of the way there — but nothing replaces a real back-and-forth conversation with a fluent speaker. If your school has access to volunteer or online English conversation partners, EnglishTeacher.com is designed to sit alongside that kind of practice.
Have students review the relevant topic here first — so they walk into the session already comfortable saying the words out loud, rather than meeting them for the first time live. Teachers running a mentor program are welcome to link directly to specific topics as pre-session warm-ups.
No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts. Use it, print it, share it with other teachers.
